Strawberry watermelon popsicles

Ingredients

  • 150 gr watermelon cleaned and cut in chunks
  • 100 gr strawberries cleaned and halved
  • Juice of 1/2 lime
  • 100 gr sugar syrup to make 250 ml of sugarsyrup; use 180 ml water and 110 gr sugar. Dissolve the sugar while heating and then leave to cook for about a minute. Set aside to cool

Instructions

  • Puree the watermelon and the strawberries together in a blender. Put in a sieve and leave to drain. Help it along a bit too if needed. Discard the seeds and remainder once all liquid has been removed. Add the limejuice and the sugar syrup and taste if it is to your liking.Put in the fridge to cool.
  • If you have a Zoku, pour in the mixture and see it freeze If you don't then just put it in a mold and wait for it to freeze. This should take about 7-9 minutes.
