Start by making the cocktail sauce. Mix the mayonnaise with the ketchup or curry. Add a little Tabasco (hot pepper sauce), some horseradish or serve as is. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Take four nice glasses and put some of the mixed salad in them. You can put the shrimp in first and then the sauce on top, or you can put the shrimp in the sauce first and then in the glass. It makes no difference to the taste.
