You have french toast and then there is this french toast. Made with (leftover) raisin bread and served with banana and chocolate. Now that's what I call delicious! For breakfast or dessert!

First make the batter for the French toast by mixing the eggs with the whipping cream, honey, vanilla extract and spices. Place the four slices of bread into this one at a time and let them soak up the mixture for a while.
Meanwhile, heat butter in a frying pan and fry the French toast in turns until brown. Serve with banana slices and drizzle melted chocolate on top. Chocolate is best melted au bain-marie. Heat a pan of water, bring to a boil and put the chocolate in a heatproof bowl. Let this melt over the pan of water.
Notes
Of course you can make this french toast with other bread as well but part of the appeal is using raisin bread. You can use stuffed raisin bread or leftover stollen as well.
Also delicious served with strawberries, raspberries or another soft fruit of your choice
I would advise to eat it right away. Storing french toast is usually not a good idea.
