Roll out the croissant dough on a cutting board. Pinch the perforated edges. Cut into slices that will fit in your waffle iron.
You may choose to fill the croissant waffle. If you do, make sure to cut the dough a little larger so you can fill it and fold it in half before placing it in the waffle iron.
Place the croissant dough in the waffle iron and cook until the waffles are golden brown.
Remove the waffles from the iron (they will still be a little soft, but will soon be crispy) and garnish with the fruit of your choice. I chose raspberries and maple syrup. Enjoy!
